The Boston Museum of Fine Arts, in existence since July 4, 1876, is one of the most comprehensive art museums in the world, with a collection of almost 500,000 works of art, ranging from ancient Egyptian artifacts to contemporary painting, sculpture and video. In addition, there are always special exhibitions on view, opportunities to take advantage of educational programs—some right in the galleries—and a contemplative Japanese garden.

Pass Benefits

Each pass allows 2 adults for $10 each (special exhibition + general admission) and up to 4 children ages 7 – 17 $10 each (special exhibition + general admission). There is no discount for children 7-17 for general admission, as it is already $10. Children under 6 are free.

This is an e-pass which you do not have to pick up or return to the library. After reserving the library's pass, you will receive a promo code by email.

You are able to use the promo code in advance to reserve discounted general admission or exhibition tickets online directly from the MFA.

You are also be able to bring the code with you to use onsite to reserve same-day tickets, but you must present an email from the library with the code to receive the discount.

If reserving in advance online, patrons receive an e-mail with their admission ticket and need to present their ticket when they arrive at the Museum, preferably on a phone or device, but tickets printed on paper are accepted. A physical library pass will not be used for admission.

Promo codes and library passes are not applicable toward discounts on shopping, parking, dining, films, concerts, lectures, courses, or any other public programs.

The Museum of Science in Boston is located on a piece of land that extends the width of the Charles River, connecting Boston and Cambridge. Dedicated to promoting and educating visitors about science and technology, the museum includes a planetarium, the world’s largest open-air Van de Graaff generator, an IMAX theatre, a butterfly garden, and permanent and changing exhibits on birds, insects and animals; space; dinosaurs; engineering; nanotechnology; math; biology; and more.

Pass Benefits

This pass will admit up to 4 people at a 50% discount on tickets to the Museum’s Exhibit Halls. Children under 3 are not included in the count of 4 and are always admitted for free. 

This is an e-pass which does not need to be picked up or returned to the library. You will receive an e-mail with your discount code immediately after you reserve the pass from the library. 

You do not need to call the museum ahead to reserve a timed ticket. If you have questions or prefer to reserve in advance, you can call 617-723-2500 (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily).

Your pass can only be used on the date printed on the pass.

Plimoth Patuxet Museums offers a living history that tells the story of the English colonists who became known as “Pilgrims” and the Native Americans with whom they interacted. A big draw is the re-creation of the original settlement, populated with interpreters in period dress with whom one may interact that are based on actual historical figures. Native People from various nations in historically accurate dress provide information about the Wampanoag—the first tribe the Pilgrims encountered—at a home site based on how the group would have lived in the 17th century. In addition to the two settlements, the museum includes a visitor center, the Craft Center, barns that contain rare and heritage animal breeds, and a grist mill that manufactures cornmeal. Plymouth Patuxet Museums is also responsible for the replica of the Mayflower, the ship that brought the Pilgrims to the New World.

This pass is an e-coupon which you will receive by email after reserving the pass from the library. This must be printed (or visible on an electronic device) and presented to Plimoth Patuxet Museum's guest services staff upon arrival at the Museum for library patrons to purchase a Heritage Pass, Combination Pass, or Plimoth Patuxet Only pass for up to six (6) individuals at the reduced rate of $16 per adult; $10 per child ages 5-17. (Rates per 2023-24 season). The printed pass must display the Library ID #.  This coupon is for one time use only by the patron and does not need to be returned to the library.

Based on actual trial documents and using life-size stage sets with figures, lighting, and narration, the museum's principle exhibit examines the 1692 Salem witch trials. In a second exhibit, “Witches: Evolving Perceptions,” guides take you through changing interpretations of witches, the truth behind the stereotypes, witchcraft practice today, and witch hunting. A gift shop is on the premises.

Pass Benefits

This pass allows discounted admission for up to 6 visitors. The physical Salem Witch Museum discount pass MUST be picked up at the Marlborough Public Library the day before or the day of your museum visit and returned to the library before the library opens the next business day. The physical pass must be presented at the museum in order to receive the discount. Additionally, visitors must go to the museum's website at salemwitchmuseum.com to purchase tickets prior to their visit and enter the discount code on the pass in the coupon code box. Upon entering your code, you will see the museum's current discount rate deducted from your balance due. You can access your promo code in the email confirmation you will receive after reserving your pass from the library.

During winter months with inclement weather, please call the museum at (978-744-1692) before your visit to make sure they will be open.

Passes not picked up at the Marlborough Public Library by noon on the reservation date will be released to other patrons.

In the summer of 2019, the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, the largest park of its kind in New England, became part of the Trustees. The museum, located in Lincoln, MA, encompasses nearly 30 conserved acres and presents contemporary art from New England—and beyond—with sculptures in the landscape and museum exhibitions. Each Trustees GO pass admits 2 adults and all children under 18 at the family membership benefit level at more than 100 Trustees properties. The GO Passes are valid for admission only and are only valid if there is available space.

Please pick up the coupon pass at the Marlborough Public Library. The pass does not need to be returned to the library after use.

The museum, a part of the Boston National Historical Park, is located in the Charlestown Navy Yard near the ship USS Constitution (“Old Ironsides”) at the end of Boston’s Freedom Trail. The museum provides a detailed look at the history of the ship, information about the war of 1812, and the battle between the ship and HMS Java. Stories are told through interactive exhibits, unique artifacts, archival records, and artwork. The museum also includes a research library which houses a strong collection of manuscripts, books, artifacts, and microfilm of primary source material. The ship itself is maintained by the US Navy, and may be visited free of charge on certain days.

Reserve your pass online from the library or call or visit the library. You will receive the pass in your email upon making your reservation from the library. Limit one pass per party. There are no advance tickets or reservations available for the USS Constitution Museum. Entry will be based on a first come, first served system, which may result in a short wait to enter the Museum.

The Worcester Art Museum is recognized for its 35,000-piece collection of paintings, sculpture, decorative arts, photography, prints, drawings and new media created over the last 5 millennia. Works include those by El Greco, Monet, Rembrandt, Gauguin, van Gogh, Renoir, Cézanne, Picasso, Copley, Gilbert Stuart, Paul Revere, and Nam June Paik. Special exhibitions showcase the masterworks, seldom-seen gems, and important works on loan—including some contemporary art. Of note are the floor mosaics from the ancient city of Antioch (Syria) in the entrance, the Japanese print collection, and the “Arms and Armor” collection. There is a café, museum shop, and library on the premises.

Each Worcester Art Museum pass admits 2 people at 50% the admission fee. Children 17 years old and younger are admitted free.

Please pick up the pass at the circulation desk at Marlborough Public Library the day before or the day of your reservation. 

Passes are not valid for any other applicable discounts on special programming or lectures. Library passes are not accepted during Flora in Winter or other special events. The first Sunday of every month is Free Admission.  

Passes not picked up by noon on the day of your reservation will be made available to other patrons.

Museum passes may be borrowed for one day and must be returned that same day. A pass returned in the overnight depository (media box) will not be considered late, provided it is returned before we open on the following business day. 

Please note that while the Worcester Art Museum is typically closed on Mondays, it is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the following Monday Holidays with free admission for all on those days- no library pass needed:
